Welcome to B-Town Blog news! Today we report on the Port of Seattle’s Part 150 Noise and Land Use Compatibility Study workshops starting in Burien on Wednesday, June 5.

Residents of Burien and surrounding areas are invited to participate in the workshops that will focus on understanding and addressing noise impacts from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The workshops will also cover land use compatibility issues related to the airport.

These workshops are part of the Port of Seattle’s efforts to comply with Federal Aviation Administration regulations that require airports to periodically update their Part 150 studies to mitigate noise impacts on surrounding communities.

The first workshop will take place on Wednesday, June 5, at 6:00 PM at the Burien Community Center. Additional workshops will be held in other communities around the airport in the coming weeks.

Residents are encouraged to attend these workshops to provide input and feedback on noise and land use compatibility issues in their communities. The Port of Seattle is committed to working with residents to find solutions that minimize the impacts of airport operations on their quality of life.

Stay tuned to B-Town Blog for more updates on the Port of Seattle’s Part 150 Noise and Land Use Compatibility Study workshops. Thank you for watching.
