The San Diego City College passed a bond that will provide funds for construction projects and improvements on campus. The $720 million bond will help to renovate and modernize existing facilities, as well as build new structures to accommodate the growing student population.
The bond was approved by the City College’s governing board after extensive discussion and input from faculty, staff, and students. The funds will be used to upgrade classrooms, labs, and infrastructure to meet current academic standards.
City College President, Dr. Ricky Shabazz, expressed his gratitude to the community for their support of the bond. He emphasized the importance of investing in the campus to provide a quality education for students.
Construction on the new projects is set to begin in the coming months. The bond is expected to benefit the City College community for years to come.
